Matt Duxfield is a Palmerston North-based Chartered Accountant with over 15 years’ experience across public sector and tertiary education environments. He is currently Finance Manager at the Ag Emissions Centre, where he focuses on financial planning, reporting, and improving the systems and processes that underpin effective decision-making.
Matt specialises in translating complex financial information into clear, practical insights for senior leaders, with a track record of strengthening reporting, driving process improvement, and supporting better organisational performance. He has previously held senior finance roles in local government, including leading group reporting, audit processes, and contributing to major systems and process change initiatives.
